Uponor North America recently named Mary Kimlinger chairperson of the Plastics Piping Systems Components Industry Forum (IF), an industry trade group that provides guidance to the National Sanitation Foundation (NSF) Kimlinger, who serves as codes and standards manager for Uponor North America, will manage the IF business and chair all meetings. Kimlinger is one of several Uponor employees who hold leadership positions in industry associations.
In addition to her role as chairperson of the IF, Kimlinger is also a professional member of ASTM International, the International Code Council (ICC), the International Association of Plumbing and Mechanical Officials (IAPMO) and the American Water Works Association (AWWA). She is the secretary of the ASTM F17 subcommittee on Olefins and the vice chair of the Plastic Pipe and Fittings Association (PPFA) Technical Committee.
