He not only guided the direction and content for the magazine, but also traveled in the field to develop stories, cover industry events and interview business owners and managers.

Principal Nora DePalma got her start as a reporter for The Record in New Jersey, assisted in the research and writing of a home improvement how-to book, and has had bylines in the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Commercial Building Products, Builder/Architect, Kitchen & Bath Business and Supply House Times.
