Williams joins building and architecture brand consultancy in Chicago-area office
O’Reilly DePalma today announced the appointment of Joel Williams as account director, where he will lead several of the marketing communications agency’s key accounts.
An award-winning writer and communications strategist, Williams has been a strategic partner of O’Reilly DePalma for several years, performing an integral role in delivering results for the agency’s roster of B2B and B2C brands in the home and commercial building products industries.
With more than 18 years of marketing communications experience, Williams is an accomplished results-driven leader who has spearheaded publicity campaigns and communications programs for Fortune 1000 organizations and leading building products brands. Prior to joining O’Reilly DePalma, Williams worked with Edelman Public Relations Worldwide and national homebuilder, KB Home, and worked with the Price Pfister and Gerber brands among others while serving as an account supervisor at Marketing Support.
A self-described weekend home-improvement warrior, Williams says his handyman skills serve him well when he counsels brands about communicating with home enthusiasts.
“Coming off a growth year for O’Reilly DePalma with more opportunities on the horizon, Joel’s talents, strategic leadership and relevant experience serve O’Reilly DePalma clients exceptionally well,” said John O’Reilly, principal of O’Reilly DePalma.
